Kitten info

All our cats and kittens are raised and kept in a home environment, with the kittens born in a bedroom with at least one of us in attendance and sleeping in with each litter for the first few weeks of their lives. They have our attention all and every day, while being seen and handled by the other members of the family as they grow to help give them a good, confident and well socialised beginning in life.

We do not compromise on our kittens health, well-being, socialization or temperament. Our kittens are from fully health tested parents.

When our kittens are ready for a new home they are: very outgoing and friendly, happy, well socialized, confident, playful and healthy, vet checked, fully vaccinated twice (cat flu/ enteritis/ FeLV), and wormed, fully weaned & litter trained. They have 4 weeks free Petplan insurance and dry & wet food supply. They are TICA REGISTERED with Pedigree, Kitten Contract and a Vet Card. They are also NEUTERED and micro-chipped.

We would like our kittens to go to homes where they will be a much loved part of the family and have access to the house (and bed!) as well as to a safe outdoor environment preferably (but please note that a 2 metre fence can be jumped in one go by some Maine Coon Cats).

We allow kitten visits from the age of nine weeks and our kittens expect you to visit them at least once, although they do prefer you to visit more often, prior to leaving for their new home with you. Our kittens leave us ready neutered and so do not leave until 14 weeks (boys) or 15 weeks (girls), however this is a guide only.

The cats are great judges of character too and usually know which prospective slave looks genuine and which one isn't! If they select you to be the proud owner of a FelinoCoons kitten then we take a 100 pounds deposit which is non-refundable (unless we cannot deliver healthy kitten).

Maine Coons are very sociable cats who need plenty of interaction with humans and other cats. They aren't snobs however, and don't mind if their feline friends are non-pedigrees or other breeds as long as they're good company!

We expect that vaccination and worming should be kept up (according to current veterinary recommendations) for the life of the cat and we strongly recommend that all kitten owners continue to insure the kitten for life also as the cost of veterinary treatment can be expensive.

We would be grateful if new owners keep in contact with us occasionally to let us know how our offspring is progressing! Photos are very much appreciated and often get put on the website- we're so proud of all our "babies".

We will always be available for help and advice when the kitten is in his/her new home- just pick up the phone or e-mail no matter if you have a concern or just want to tell us what your cat has been up to.

Now that you've read all that, if you feel that you have what it takes to offer one of our kitties a permanent home that is full of love then please contact us for more information on any available kittens, about future matings or if you have any questions.
